Of The Wind 7 foot copper sculpture without stone represents the dance of feminine and masculine energies.

7 feet, copper

Of  The Wind

Artist’s Private Collection

Of  The Wind was originally sculpted around a stone in my continuing exploration of the dance of feminine and masculine energies.  At completion I found I preferred the copper sculpture without the stone, not because of the void, but because of the energy of response that lingers in the copper itself.  I wake each morning to this sculpture half expecting it to be a different shape.  I love the visual irony between its open, airy surface and the sense that it is caught in the wind.
